With over 6,000 international attendees and over 250 exhibitors, the ACTFL convention is one of the largest gatherings of language learning professionals in the world. This year’s theme is “Inspire. Engage. Transform”, to reflect the broad impact that language educators can have on a student’s life.

This year’s keynote speaker is renowned travel author and television host Rick Steves. The focus of his talk will be on developing a global perspective through travel.

In addition to the keynote, there are more than 700 other educational sessions to choose from in the ACTFL program. They have also added some new touches to better help today’s language educators make connections in the modern world, including:

  • The ACTFL Career Café will help teachers and educators master resume, interview, and career skills to help them find the next great step in their careers.
  • The Social Media Lounge, aside from being a place to charge your devices, will also be presenting sessions on how educators can connect with each other via social networks, create infographics, and find the latest classroom apps.
  • The ACTFL Collab Zone is where educators can work 1-on-1 with experts in implementing the latest assessments.

We’ll be joining the live conversation. The best way to keep track of all the exciting events that Rosetta Stone Education is producing at booth #1627 is to follow us on Facebook and Twitter.
